April Favourites

april favourites garnier summer body tanning lotion fake tan vaseline loccitane rose shower gel stila lipglaze lipgloss apricot natural collection lip liner almond

Garnier Summer Body Gradual Tanning Lotion
I've had pretty mixed views about this product since I bought it but this month I've been loving it. I'm not a massive tan user, usually when I do I use instant tanner but it coming up to Summer and all I wanted a bit more of a fuss free tan. The tone it gives is much better suited to me than other gradual tanners I've used. My only gripe is the scent, but I guess you get that with all tanners, instant or gradual.

Monogotas Mango Body Spray
This is a bit of a naughty one as If you read my favourites post a while back you'll know this product is only available in Spain (oops, sorry). It was pretty cheap and lasts a lot longer than most cheapy body sprays you get, it almost has a lingering perfume scent. Not sure about the mango claims, but regardless its a really nice pick me up product that sticks around!

L'occitane Rose Bath & Shower Gel
A new purchase this month, a little pricier than your average shower gel but definitely worth the money. I'm not a massive rose scent fan but this time around I fancied going for something a little more mature and luxurious, which really you should if you're £13 on a relatively small bottle of shower gel. Basically its got the quality you'd expect coming from a higher end bath product.

Vaseline Pink Bubbly Lip Balm
A bit of a random one I feel as pretty much every female (and a few males!) always have a tub of Vaseline lying around at the bottom of their bag and it's never considered anything special. This month I've been loving using the 'Pink Bubbly' variety which isn't strongly tinted but has a nice rose-y taste and thin texture, I guess I've got a thing for roses this month!

No7 Foxglove & Barry M Magenta Glitter Nail Polish
This month I've been loving using this nail colour combination. I've always been a huge fan of Barry M glitters but they do need an opaque base coat with them. No7 Foxglove was the nearest match in my collection (after 15 minutes of deliberation between 3 purple shades that 'look exactly the same' according to my brother). I love the effect it gives and I may have to do a notd soon as its one of my favourite summer combinations, especially for toes!

Stila Lipglaze in 'Apricot' and Natural Collection Lip Liner in 'Almond'
When I first purchased the Natural Collection Lip Liner in Almond I absolutely detested it, not going to lie. However, after a bit of recent experimentation I've figured out a way of using it make it look more natural. I tend to line my lower lip and cupids bow, then apply the Stila Lipglaze in 'Apricot' over the top. Stila glosses are really sticky and so a combination of the two stays on all day!
