Clean & Clear Morning Energy Scrub Review

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Skin Brightening Facial Scrub
3.99 150ml

Clean & Clear, the makers of my all time favourite skin products released their new 'Morning Energy' collection a few months ago and the blogging world was bombarded with reviews on their range of daily cleansers, moisturisers, scrubs and lotions straight away. However, me being me I insist on trying something for a lengthier period of time to get a verdict on a product, especially skincare as often people think 'oh my skins smoother - it works!' up until 2 weeks later when their faces are rash-filled and shiny!
So to start of with, one of the main selling points of the collection are their 'bursting beads' which are visibly noticeable in the photo above. These beads are a great gentle exfoliant and add a little bit of solidity to this otherwise gel-like consistencey. If I had one complaint about this product, it would be that sometimes a few of the beads don't burst and so don't wash off too easily - but that's probably just my fault.

Now possibly one of my favourite things about the product is its smell! Oh the gorgeous smell of citrus and passion fruit, so appropriate for the Morning Energy range because there is literally nothing more satisfying at 7.30 am than a nice waft of fruity heavenleyness to wake you up! As for skin brightening, I guess it does what its supposed to. My skin definately looks a lot nicer after using it although I'm not sure if that's only because I've come out of my 8 hour hibernation or whether it really is down to the product.

All products in the range are priced at 3.99 at Superdrug meaning you could pick up the moisturiser, wash and scrub from one of the three lines for only £12. The lines available are the 'Skin Brightening' products packaged in yellow, the 'Shine Control' products packaged in green (which I'm extremely eager to try) and the 'Energising' products packaged in orange. The Morning Energy range is available at Boots, Superdrug and most Supermarkets. Its a gorgeous smelling, non-sticking, massively affordable scrub and I much recommend you pick up at least one product from the line just to try it out - I promise you you'll never turn back!

Excuse this photo not being at the top, my layouts a freak.
